Indications

Lycopodium is traditionally associated with disorders of the liver, gall bladder and bile duct. It is linked with a loss of appetite or lycorexia and a feeling of satiation after eating only very little, and with meteorism (bloating) such that the patient cannot tolerate anything tight around the abdomen. It is connected with a pale, yellowish complexion, uric acid diathesis and digestive disturbance, and with the regeneration of the liver and stimulation of its detoxicating function. Characteristically right-sided, it is associated with tonsillitis starting on the right and with right-sided complaints generally, and with inguinal hernia. On the mental side it is linked with a distrustful, suspicious and resentful disposition.

About the remedy

Lycopodium-Injeel S is a single-remedy homeopathic preparation from Heel's antihomotoxic Injeel range, containing potentised Lycopodium clavatum (club-moss), a spore-bearing plant of the Lycopodiaceae family. A major homeopathic constitutional remedy, it is traditionally associated above all with the liver and digestion and with right-sided complaints.

Composition

Each 1.1 ml ampoule contains: Lycopodium clavatum D8, D12, D30, D200, D1000 — 0.220 ml each.

Among the preparations stocked here, Lycopodium clavatum features in Hepeel, Hepar compositum, Injeel-Chol, Cruroheel S, Metro-Adnex-Injeel, Momordica compositum, Nux-Vomica Homaccord, Rauwolfia compositum and Testis compositum. To stimulate the detoxicating hepatic function it is often paired with Hepeel.

Suggested use

Supplied as ampoules of 1.1 ml. The solution may be taken orally or used by injection (i.m., s.c., i.d. or i.v.). A general guideline is the contents of one ampoule 1–3 times weekly; in acute situations it may be used more frequently, or as directed.
