Dosages - Adults, Children and Infants
Below we have included all general recommended dosages for Heel Remedies, for adults, children, and babies.
All the oral remedies in all the ranges that we sell should be taken separate from food.

Adults and children 6 years plus - 1 tablet dissolved completely in the mouth / sublingually - 3 times daily or as directed by a physician.
Infants and children up to 6 years - 1/2 the adult dosage.
Acute Disorders - In acute cases the tablets can be taken every 15 minutes over a period of 2 hours. This can be repeated if required, in addition to the daily dosage.
Tablets can be mixed with a little water without losing effectiveness.
Drops - Adults & Children
Adults and children above 11 years: - 10 drops orally 3 times daily, or as directed by a physician.
Infants and children up to 11 years: consult a physician for use in children under 12 years of age.
Drops may be taken either:-
- directly from the bottle and held in the mouth , or
- taken together with a small amount of water. Keeping the medication in the mouth for sometime to improve absorption and therefore the effectivity.
Acute Disorders - In acute cases the drops can be taken every 15 minutes over a period of 2 hours in addition to the daily dose if required. This can be repeated if required.
Ampoules - Adults, Children
* Note: If multiple ampoules are being taken, they can be taken together, mixed together whether taking orally, or as an injectable.
Adults:- 1 ampule, 3 times per week IM/SC/IV/ID or peri-articular or orally.
Acute Dosage:- 1 ampoule daily.
Children ages 1 to 6:- 1/2 ampoule daily.
Acute Dosage : 1/2 ampoule 3 times daily (which equals 1 and a half ampoules per day).
Infants - 0 to 1 years:- 1/3 of the ampoule daily - normal dosage.
Acute dosage: 1/3 x 3 daily (so ends up being 1 ampoule per day)
When taking Orally you can mix the ampoule in a small bottle or glass of water and sip slowly over an hour or so. Take separate from food.
Advantages of Ampoules
The advantage of using the ampoules/injections is the speed of delivery, as it does not have to travel first through the digestive track before reaching the site of injury, thus the response is immediate.
Ampoules taken by Mouth
Alternatively they can be taken orally and diluted in water. The dosage is the same as above.
Take in a glass of water and sip slowly separate from food and drinks.
Important Note:- Coffee & Peppermint
When taking Heel Remedies drops or tablets or ampoules don't take any coffee or peppermint for 10 minutes before or after as these can antidote / stop the remedy from working -- as with any homeopathic remedies.
Take away from food - ie first thing in the morning, last thing at night and not with meals.
Gel and Ointment (Cream)
Adults, children and infants - Apply generously to the affected areas 2 to 3 times daily.
The ointments & gels should be rubbed gently into the skin. May also be applied when using a mild compression bandage.
