Description

Indications

Calcium carbonicum is traditionally associated with the exudative, scrofulous constitution — scrofulous glandular swelling, difficult dentition and infantile facial eczema — and with profuse, sour perspiration, particularly sweating of the head. It is linked with cold, damp hands and feet (as if wearing wet stockings) and with a general worsening from cold and from both physical and mental effort. In the mucosa it is connected with a tendency to the development of polypi and to ulceration. On the mental plane it is associated with a despondent outlook in which the person always sees everything from its most unpleasant angle, and characteristically with a strong desire for eggs.

About the remedy

Calcium Carbonicum-Injeel forte is a single-remedy homeopathic preparation from Heel's antihomotoxic Injeel range, containing potentised Calcium carbonicum Hahnemanni (calcium carbonate, prepared from the inner white part of the oyster shell). It is one of homeopathy's great constitutional mineral remedies, with a sphere of action centred on calcium metabolism, the glands and the exudative diathesis. This is the stronger “forte” strength.

Composition

Each 1.1 ml ampoule contains: Calcium carbonicum Hahnemanni D6, D12, D30, D200 — 0.275 ml each.

Part of the Heel range — what to use it with

Calcium carbonicum Hahnemanni features in a number of Heel preparations stocked here, including CalcoHeel, Circulo-Injeel, Graphites Homaccord, Hepar Compositum, Hormeel S, Injeel Chol and Viburcol.

Suggested use

Supplied as ampoules of 1.1 ml. The solution may be taken orally or used by injection (i.m., s.c., i.d. or i.v.). A general guideline is the contents of one ampoule 1–3 times weekly; in acute situations it may be used more frequently, or as directed.
