Description
Indications
Cerebrum suis is traditionally associated with conditions of mental exhaustion and with disturbances in development. It is linked with functional weakness and with circulatory disturbances of the brain, and connected with the after-treatment of progressive paralysis, with paraplegia, with arteriosclerotic dementia and with encephalomalacia (softening of brain tissue). As a brain-tissue preparation it is used to support the brain's own function where cerebral performance and circulation are impaired.
About the remedy
Cerebrum Suis Injeel Forte is a single-remedy homeopathic preparation from Heel's antihomotoxic Injeel range, prepared from potentised porcine (suis) brain tissue (cerebrum). Following the principle of suis-organ preparations, a potentised animal organ is used to support the corresponding human organ — here the brain — to encourage its own function and cerebral circulation. This is the stronger ‘forte’ presentation.
Composition
Each 1.1 ml ampoule contains: Cerebrum suis D8, D12, D30, D200 — 0.275 ml each.
(Heel also produces a standard-strength version, Cerebrum suis-Injeel: D10, D30, D200.)
Part of the Heel range — what to use it with
Among the preparations stocked here, Cerebrum suis features in the complex remedy Cerebrum Compositum. In injection therapy it is frequently combined with Hepar suis-Injeel, and it may be used alongside Glandula Suprarenalis Suis Injeel or Glandula Thymi Suis Injeel.
Suggested use
Supplied as ampoules of 1.1 ml. The solution may be taken orally or used by injection (i.m., s.c., i.d. or i.v.). A general guideline is the contents of one ampoule 1–3 times weekly; in acute situations it may be used more frequently, or as directed.
