Description
Indications
Crataegus is traditionally associated with the ageing and strained heart and is one of the best-known cardiac remedies. It is linked with senile heart, with pre-insufficiency and cardiac insufficiency, with hypertonic heart and with coronary insufficiency, as well as with post-infectious and focal-toxic myocardial impairment (heart-muscle weakness following infection or hidden foci). It is connected with angina pectoris, with cardiac pangs and stabbing pains in the heart, with arrhythmia cordis (irregular heart action), with conditions of exhaustion and with a tendency towards oedema. Crataegus is regarded as acting on the heart weakened by muscular damage and physiological ageing, raising the volume of coronary flow, promoting the blood and oxygen supply of the myocardium and exerting a regulating effect on the blood pressure. It is also valued as a general sedative and as an auxiliary remedy alongside cardiac glycosides.
About the remedy
Crataegus Injeel is a single-remedy homeopathic preparation from Heel's antihomotoxic Injeel range, containing potentised Crataegus (whitethorn, or hawthorn), a thorny shrub of the rose family (Rosaceae). Long valued in herbal and homeopathic practice as a heart tonic, Crataegus is used to support the ageing or strained heart and its circulation.
Composition
Each 1.1 ml ampoule contains: Crataegus D12, D30, D200 — 0.367 ml each.
