Indications

Phosphorus is traditionally regarded as a remedy for affections of the parenchyma — the functional tissue of the organs — and in particular for damage to the liver parenchyma. It is linked with bronchopneumonia and with a marked tendency to haemorrhage, including Werlhof's disease (a bleeding disorder), and with glomerulonephritis accompanied by blood in the urine (haematuria). It is associated with painful laryngitis and hoarseness. On the mental and nervous side it is connected with great excitability and nervous debility, with fearfulness and a fear of the dark and of thunderstorms. It is further characterised by a general burning sensation, a yearning for cold drinks, and a dry, smooth, red tongue, or a whitish coating marked with blackish-brown spots.

About the remedy

Phosphorus Injeel S is a single-remedy homeopathic preparation from Heel's antihomotoxic Injeel range, containing potentised Phosphorus (the element phosphorus). A long-established homeopathic polychrest, its sphere of action embraces the parenchymatous organs — especially the liver and lungs — the blood vessels and the nervous system, together with a characteristic constitutional picture of the sensitive, excitable and easily exhausted subject.

Composition

Each 1.1 ml ampoule contains: Phosphorus D12, D30, D200, D1000 — 0.275 ml each.

Part of the Heel range — what to use it with

Phosphorus is one of the more widely used constituents across the Heel range. Among the preparations stocked here it features in Bryaconeel, Gripp-Heel, Hepeel, Echinacea compositum, Galium-Heel, Leptandra compositum, Mucosa compositum, Naso-Heel S and Testis compositum. In injection therapy it is a mainstay for parenchymatous and haemorrhagic complaints.

Suggested use

Supplied as ampoules of 1.1 ml. The solution may be taken orally or used by injection (i.m., s.c., i.d. or i.v.). A general guideline is the contents of one ampoule 1–3 times weekly; in acute situations it may be used more frequently, or as directed.
