Traumeel S Ampoules: Box of 10, Box of 100 or 3 x 100?

Educational information on traditional homeopathic use only. Not medical advice.

Traumeel S 2.2 ml ampoules are sold in a box of 10, a box of 100 and a 3 x 100 bulk option. They contain the same ampoule; what changes is how many you have to hand. This guide walks through who each size suits, so you can buy once and not run out at the wrong moment. We have not quoted prices here, because they can change: the current figure is always on the product page.

Box of 10 Box of 100 3 x 100 option

Start with how you will use them

The normal dosage is 1 ampoule every 3 days. In acute disorders, 1 ampoule a day. Work out a rough week for yourself, then multiply. If your practitioner has given you a schedule, use that. A single ampoule a day for two weeks uses fourteen ampoules, which already exceeds a box of 10; a household of four sharing one box will empty it quickly.

The box of 10: the easy first step

Our 10-ampoule box is the natural starting point. It suits:

  • people trying ampoules for the first time and wanting to see how they get on with the format;
  • someone with a one-off need, such as a travel kit or a training camp;
  • gift boxes and sample packs for friends who run or lift.

The page describes it as a good size to start with, and the per-ampoule cost is higher than the larger boxes, which is the trade-off for buying small.

The box of 100: the household and clinic staple

The 100-ampoule box is the same 2.2 ml ampoule in volume. Our own pages note it costs less per ampoule than the box of 10. It tends to suit:

  • families who keep a supply for knocks, sports days and weekend injuries;
  • people who take ampoules regularly under a practitioner's guidance;
  • sports clubs, gyms and physio rooms that keep a shared first-aid stock;
  • practitioners who dispense to several patients.

Before you buy 100, check the use-by date arrangement and storage space. Our storage guide covers shelf life and where to keep a larger box.

3 x 100: the bulk option

The 3 x 100 option is found on the 100-ampoule product page as a bulk-saving variant. It is meant for those who go through ampoules steadily, such as clinics, team doctors and large households. It only makes sense if you will realistically use the ampoules within their shelf life, so be honest about volume, and remember that the 5 ml range has its own 3 x 50 option if you prefer the larger vial.

A quick decision guide

  • Not sure yet? Buy 10.
  • Using about one ampoule a week or more, all year? Look at 100.
  • Supplying others (team, clinic, family)? 100 or 3 x 100.
  • Prefer the larger vial? See 2.2 ml versus 5 ml.

What about delivery and ordering together?

You can mix boxes in one order, for example a box of 10 for the travel bag and a box of 100 for home. Our delivery times by country page shows the usual transit times where we post. There is also a page of bulk prices for 100-ampoule boxes if you are ordering for a practice.

Cautions

A larger supply is not a reason to take more. Follow the label directions, and ask a practitioner or doctor first if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, buying for a child, or on regular medication. Symptoms that are severe, persistent or getting worse need medical attention. Other methods of use, including injection (i.m., s.c., i.d., i.v.), are for trained individuals, e.g. practitioners.

Frequently asked questions

Is the 100 box a different strength?

No. Both are 2.2 ml Traumeel S ampoules with the same listed ingredients.

Can I split a box with a friend?

That is a personal decision, but each person should read the label and, if relevant, check with their practitioner before taking ampoules.

Will unused ampoules go off?

Check the expiry date printed on your box and see our storage article. Do not use ampoules past their date.

What is the dosage on the 10 and 100 pages?

The same on both: normal dosage is 1 ampoule every 3 days. In acute disorders, 1 ampoule a day. Follow the directions that come with your box, and ask your practitioner for personal advice.
