Indications

Silicea is traditionally regarded as a deep-acting constitutional remedy, associated above all with weakness of the connective tissue and with acute and chronic suppuration. It is linked with rachitic, dystrophic, exudative and scrofulous children and with lymphatism, and with suppurative conditions such as otitis with discharge, eczema of the auditory meatus (ear canal), pyodermia and furunculosis (recurrent boils). It is further connected with acid, malodorous night sweats. Characteristically the picture is one that is improved by warmth and worsened by cold.

About the remedy

Silicea-Injeel is a single-remedy homeopathic preparation from Heel's antihomotoxic Injeel range, containing potentised Silicea (silicic acid / silica, Acidum silicicum). A classic homeopathic mineral remedy, its sphere of action centres on the connective tissue, the skin and the body's capacity to mature and expel chronic suppuration, and it is valued as a profound constitutional preparation.

Composition

Each 1.1 ml ampoule contains: Silicea D12, D30, D200, D1000 — 0.275 ml each.

Part of the Heel range — what to use it with

Silicic acid (Silicea / Acidum silicicum) features across the Heel range. Among the preparations stocked here it appears in Cruroheel S, Discus compositum, Spigelon, Strumeel and Zeel.

Suggested use

Supplied as ampoules of 1.1 ml. The solution may be taken orally or used by injection (i.m., s.c., i.d. or i.v.). A general guideline is the contents of one ampoule 1–3 times weekly; in acute situations it may be used more frequently, or as directed.
