Description
Indications
Solidago virgaurea is traditionally associated with the kidneys and urinary tract. It is linked with nephritis and nephrosis accompanied by hydropic (fluid-retaining) conditions and albuminuria, and with dark, mucosanguineous urine carrying a thick sediment. It is further connected with cystitis, cystalgia (bladder pain), dysuria and strangury (painful, straining urination) and with prostatic adenoma (benign prostatic enlargement). In its traditional picture, renal and vesical (bladder) disorders are often accompanied by eczema of the skin.
