Description

Indications

Tonsilla suis is a porcine tonsil preparation traditionally associated with disorders of the tonsils and of the lymphatic system. It is linked with tonsillar hypertrophy (enlarged tonsils) and with chronic tonsillitis, and with the broader lymphatic constitution — lymphatism, scrofulosis and exudative diathesis, the tendency of so-called “lymphatic children” towards recurrent glandular swelling and mucous-membrane catarrh. Within the compendium it is also noted for experimental use in lymphogranulomatosis and reticulosis.

About the remedy

Tonsilla suis-Injeel is a single-remedy homeopathic preparation from Heel’s antihomotoxic Injeel range, prepared from potentised porcine tonsil tissue. Suis-organ preparations of this kind are used on the organotropic principle to support the corresponding human tissue — here the tonsils and their part within the lymphatic and immune apparatus.

Composition

Each 1.1 ml ampoule contains: Tonsilla suis D10, D30, D200 — 0.367 ml each.

Part of the Heel range — what to use it with

Tonsilla suis features as a constituent of Tonsilla Compositum. In injection therapy it is used alongside Cerebrum suis-Injeel and Neuro-Injeel, and in tonsillar disorders it may be given intratonsillarly.

Suggested use

Supplied as ampoules of 1.1 ml. The solution may be taken orally or used by injection (i.m., s.c., i.d. or i.v.). A general guideline is the contents of one ampoule 1–3 times weekly; in acute situations it may be used more frequently, or as directed.
