Indications

Bacterium coli is traditionally associated with tiredness and with physical and mental exhaustion — with the use of wrong words and loss of memory for recent events, with fearfulness and indecision, and often with meteorism (bloating from trapped gas). It is linked with a sensation of chilliness after eating and with a yellowish-white coating of the tongue bearing a red streak down the middle. It is connected with dysuria and with turbid, foul-smelling urine, and its complaints worsen in cold, wet conditions. Favourable effects have been noted in salpingitis and chronic adnexitis, in cystitis, renal calculus, cholangitis and cholelithiasis, and in depressive states. Above all it is indicated to restore the intestinal coli flora after treatment with antibiotics and after other antibiotic damage.

About the remedy

Bacterium coli-Injeel is a single-remedy homeopathic preparation from Heel's antihomotoxic Injeel range. It is a nosode — a remedy prepared from a potentised, sterilised disease-related source, here the intestinal bacterium Escherichia coli — used according to the isopathic principle, in which a potentised form of the associated agent is given to help the body regulate the disturbance connected with it. It is turned to especially to help re-establish the physiological gut flora.

Composition

Each 1.1 ml ampoule contains: Bacterium coli D12, D30, D200 — 0.367 ml each.

Part of the Heel range — what to use it with

Among the preparations stocked here, the coli nosode features as a constituent of Mucosa compositum and Solidago compositum.

Suggested use

Supplied as ampoules of 1.1 ml. The solution may be taken orally or used by injection (i.m., s.c., i.d. or i.v.). A general guideline is the contents of one ampoule 1–3 times weekly; in acute situations it may be used more frequently, or as directed.
