Description

Indications

Hekla lava is traditionally associated with abnormal bony growth and hardening of bone. Its principal use is for exostosis — bony outgrowths and overgrowths — particularly on the jaw and on the feet, as in a calcaneal (heel) spur. It is accordingly linked with painful bony enlargements and with disorders in which excess bone is deposited around the periosteum.

About the remedy

Hekla Lava-Injeel is a single-remedy homeopathic preparation from Heel's antihomotoxic Injeel range, containing potentised Hekla lava — the volcanic ash and scoria erupted from Mount Hekla in Iceland, rich in silica, alumina and lime. In homeopathy its sphere of action centres on bone, where it is the classic remedy for exostoses and other abnormal bony outgrowths.

Composition

Each 1.1 ml ampoule contains: Hekla lava D12, D30, D200 — 0.367 ml each.

Part of the Heel range — what to use it with

Among the preparations stocked here, Hekla lava features in Osteoheel, Heel's remedy for disorders of bone and periosteum, with which it shares its affinity for bony outgrowths.

Suggested use

Supplied as ampoules of 1.1 ml. The solution may be taken orally or used by injection (i.m., s.c., i.d. or i.v.). A general guideline is the contents of one ampoule 1–3 times weekly; in acute situations it may be used more frequently, or as directed.
