Description

Indications

Symphytum is traditionally known as the “Arnica of the bones”. It is associated above all with the healing of injured bone — used to accelerate the formation of callus in fractures — and with periostitis (inflammation of the bone covering). It is further linked with causalgia (persistent burning nerve pain) and with the troublesome disorders that can arise in amputation stumps.

About the remedy

Symphytum-Injeel is a single-remedy homeopathic preparation from Heel's antihomotoxic Injeel range, containing potentised Symphytum officinale (comfrey, or “knitbone”), a herb of the borage family (Boraginaceae) with a long traditional use in promoting the repair of bone and periosteum — the standing that earned it the name “Arnica of the bones”.

Composition

Each 1.1 ml ampoule contains: Symphytum officinale D12, D30, D200 — 0.367 ml each.

Part of the Heel range — what to use it with

Symphytum officinale is a constituent of Traumeel S and Zeel, both stocked here, where it supports the healing of injured bone and connective tissue.

Suggested use

Supplied as ampoules of 1.1 ml. The solution may be taken orally or used by injection (i.m., s.c., i.d. or i.v.). A general guideline is the contents of one ampoule 1–3 times weekly; in acute situations it may be used more frequently, or as directed.
