Description
Indications
Hypericum is traditionally associated with injuries of the nerves and brain. It is the classic remedy for neural and cerebral injuries such as commotio cerebri (concussion), and for neural pains occurring upon or after injury — particularly injuries to parts rich in nerves. It is linked with the after-effects of puncture and incised wounds, including reflex pains arising from old puncture wounds, and it also has a haemostatic (bleeding-arresting) reputation. In practice it is frequently used for nerve and brain injuries and their after-treatment, and for painful conditions of nervous origin.
About the remedy
Hypericum Injeel is a single-remedy homeopathic preparation from Heel's antihomotoxic Injeel range, containing potentised Hypericum perforatum (St. John's wort), a yellow-flowered herb of the Hypericaceae family. Long valued in traditional medicine for injuries and nerve pain, in homeopathy it is regarded as the pre-eminent remedy for damage to nerve-rich tissue and for the nervous system.
Composition
Each 1.1 ml ampoule contains: Hypericum perforatum D12, D30, D200 — 0.367 ml each.
Part of the Heel range — what to use it with
Among the preparations stocked here, Hypericum perforatum features in Traumeel S, Tonico and Valerianaheel. For brain and nerve injuries it is often used in injection therapy alongside Traumeel S, with Cerebrum suis-Injeel for after-treatment.
Suggested use
Supplied as ampoules of 1.1 ml. The solution may be taken orally or used by injection (i.m., s.c., i.d. or i.v.). A general guideline is the contents of one ampoule 1–3 times weekly; in acute situations it may be used more frequently, or as directed.
