Hemorrhoids, or piles, are swollen veins around the anus and in the rectum that may protrude from the anus. They are very much like varicose veins; they enlarge and lose their elasticity, resulting in saclike protrusions into the anal canal. They can be caused and aggravated by sitting or standing for prolonged periods, lifting heavy objects, straining at bowel movements, as well as by pregnancy, obesity, lack of exercise, liver damage, food allergies and insufficient consumption of dietary fiber.
Dosage of Combination Salts:
Suggested dosage for Children and Adolescents:
- 0 to 1 year: 1 tablet
- 1 to 6 years: 2 tablets
- 6 to 10 years: 3 tablets
- 10 years and older: 4 tablets
Acute cases: In general, administered every 15 minutes, half-hour, hourly or in 2-hour intervals, as required, depending on the intensity of the symptoms.
Subacute cases: 3-4 times a day for a relatively extended period of time.
Chronic cases: 2-3 times a day for a relatively extended period of time.
Infants: 1 tablet at a time, dissolved in some warm water.
More than one salt can be taken concurrently; use in alteration.
Combination salt tablets should be allowed to dissolve under the tongue. Note: The salts are lactose based (milk and sugar)
Composition: Calcarea Fluorica 3X, Calcarea Phosphorica 3X, Ferrum Phosphoricum 3X, Kali Muriaticum 3X
Calcarea Fluorica 3X: This tissue salt specifically tones relaxed conditions of the veins and muscular fiber is an essential constituent of the elastic fibers of the vessels of the connective tissues of the body. When the elastic fibers of the blood vessels suffer a disturbance of the molecules of Calcarea fluorica, such a pathological enlargement of blood vessels take place, which make their appearance in such conditions as haemorrhoids and varicose and enlarged veins. Internal and blind piles sometimes accompanied by pain in the back. Accompanied by constipation, bleeding with haemorrhoids with bright red blood.
Calcarea Phosphorica 3X: This remedy is indicated for chronic cases of haemorrhoids in anaemic or weak patients.
Ferrum Phosphoricum 3X: For symptoms of inflammation and bleeding, blood is bright red, with a tendency to congulate, constipation associated with prolapse, haemorrhoids and aversion to meat diet. Disposition to a prolapsed rectum.
Kali Muriaticum 3X: Bleeding haemorrhoids with dark, thick, fibrinous and clotted blood.
