Diabetes mellitus results from a defect in the production of insulin by the pancreas. Without insulin, the body cannot utilize glucose, its principle energy source. This combination of Biochemic salts help to relieve many conditions associated with diabetes. BC-7 helps with assimilation of glucose and improves impaired kidney/liver functions.
Dosage of Combination Salts:
Suggested dosage for Children and Adolescents:
- 0 to 1 year: 1 tablet
- 1 to 6 years: 2 tablets
- 6 to 10 years: 3 tablets
- 10 years and older: 4 tablets
Acute cases: In general, administered every 15 minutes, half-hour, hourly or in 2-hour intervals, as required, depending on the intensity of the symptoms.
Subacute cases: 3-4 times a day for a relatively extended period of time.
Chronic cases: 2-3 times a day for a relatively extended period of time.
Infants: 1 tablet at a time, dissolved in some warm water.
More than one salt can be taken concurrently; use in alteration.
Combination salt tablets should be allowed to dissolve under the tongue. Note: The salts are lactose based (milk and sugar)
Composition: Calcarea Phosphorica 3X, Ferrum Phosphoricum 3X, Kali Phosphoricum 3X, Natrum Phosphoricum 3X, Natrum Sulphuricum 3X
Calcarea Phosphorica 3X: This remedy has been founded useful in diabetes mellitus where the lungs are implicated. It is very effective not only for lungs but in diminishing quality of urine and lowering its specific gravity. Polyuria, with weakness, tremendous thirst, and a dry mouth and tongue. Patient has a flabby and unsunken abdomen. Craves bacon and salt. Glycosuria when lungs are involved.
Ferrum Phosphoricum 3X: Patient will experience a quickened pulse. Indicated when pain, heat or congestion exists in any part of the system.
Kali Phosphoricum 3X: Kali phosphoricum aids in establishing regular functioning of the medulla oblongata and of the vagus nerve, which subsequently acts on the digestion, stomach and lungs. This tissue salt is particularly helpful in symptoms of nervous prostration, weakness, sleeplessness and a voracious appetite.
Natrum Phosphoricum 3X: This tissue salt is essential for the proper functioning of the digestive organs. The assimilation of fats and other nutrients are dependent on the action of this remedy.
Natrum Sulphuricum 3X: This is the chief remedy in cases of the diabetes mellitus. It has direction action on any deficiencies involving pancreatic secretions by stimulating the epithelial cells of the bile ducts, pancreas and intestinal canal.
