Description
Indications
Arsenicum album is traditionally associated with disorders that grow worse around midnight, with burning pains and a strong longing for warmth, and with a deep-seated anxiety — a fear of never becoming healthy again. It is linked with acrid, burning discharges, with coryza, with gastritis and diarrhoea, and with an insatiable thirst satisfied only by small sips of warm water. Among skin complaints it is connected with eczema, dermatitis, urticaria with burning, pruritus, acne vulgaris, psoriasis, pityriasis and lichen ruber planus. It is further associated with glomerulonephritis and nephrolithiasis (particularly right-sided colic), with myocarditis, arrhythmia perpetua and anasarca, and with conjunctivitis and headache. Above all it is indicated where exhaustion, restlessness, anxiety and depression dominate the picture, often with emaciation and heavy toxin levels.
About the remedy
Arsenicum album-Injeel S is a single-remedy homeopathic preparation from Heel's antihomotoxic Injeel range, containing potentised Arsenicum album (white arsenic, arsenic trioxide). One of the great “polychrests” of classical homeopathy, its sphere embraces the digestive tract, the skin, the kidneys and the heart, and above all states of burning pain, restlessness, exhaustion and anxiety. Potentisation renders the mineral suitable for gentle antihomotoxic use.
Composition
Each 1.1 ml ampoule contains: Arsenicum album D12, D30, D200, D1000 — 0.275 ml each.
Part of the Heel range — what to use it with
Arsenicum album is a widely used constituent across the Heel range. Among the preparations stocked here it features in Cor compositum, Echinacea compositum, Solidago compositum, Circulo-Injeel, Diarrheel S, Gastricumeel, Leptandra compositum, Cantharis compositum, Mezereum-Homaccord, Strophanthus compositum and Sulfurheel.
Suggested use
Supplied as ampoules of 1.1 ml. The solution may be taken orally or used by injection (i.m., s.c., i.d. or i.v.). A general guideline is the contents of one ampoule 1–3 times weekly; in acute situations it may be used more frequently, or as directed.
