Mucokehl and Nigersan: The Two Foundation Stones of Basic Regulation

Part 3 of our series, "Understanding SANUM Therapy."

This article is educational in nature and does not replace personalised medical advice. If you are managing a health condition, please consult a qualified practitioner.

Ask a practitioner trained in this tradition which two remedies they would keep if they could only keep two, and the answer, more often than not, is the same pair: Mucokehl and Nigersan. They are the most widely used preparations in the entire SANUM range, and they sit at the very centre of what is called Basic Regulation — the maintenance phase that comes after a more targeted, specific remedy has done its work.

What They Are

Mucokehl® is built from the nonpathogenic, low-valenced Chondritin stages of Mucor racemosus Fresen (SA 4-11) — the same fungal species whose full cyclogenetic cycle, from colloid to fungus, Enderlein mapped in such detail. Nigersan® is its counterpart, built from the low-valenced Chondritin stages of Aspergillus niger van Tieghem (SA 4-20). Both are supplied as nonpathogenic preparations of diverse, low developmental stages of their respective fungi, intended not to attack anything, but to support the body's own capacity for regeneration.

Because these are isopathic preparations — species-identical to organisms the body may already be carrying in a more troublesome, higher-valenced form — their action is described not as suppressing symptoms, but as normalising the symbiotic equilibrium between the Endobiont and its host on the basis of species-identical organisms. Give the body a gentle supply of the nonpathogenic, low-valenced Chondritin form of the same organism it is struggling to hold in check, and — according to this model — you support its own return down the cyclogenetic ladder to where that organism belongs.

A Second Function: Decongestion

Mucokehl in particular is credited with a second, quite distinct action beyond its isopathic role: decongestion of agglutinated erythrocytes, leucocytes, thrombocytes and other blood elements. This is one reason why appropriate massage of connective tissues and muscles is considered a useful accompaniment during treatment of endobiontic conditions — the remedy is understood to be working, in part, at the level of the blood's own flow and cellular clumping, not purely at the level of the fungal Chondritins themselves.

The Excretion Partners: Mucokehl Atox and Nigersan Atox

Every remedy that helps the body break higher forms down into lower ones has to reckon with a practical question: where does all that broken-down material go? This is the role of the paired anti-Chondritin preparations, Mucokehl® Atox. and Nigersan® Atox.. Described as antibodies for the fungal Chondritins, their administration is intended to accelerate both the breakdown and the elimination of decomposition products — via the urinary paths, the bronchi, the skin, and especially the intestine.

This detail matters because it reflects a consistent theme across the whole SANUM philosophy: every overdose, or every treatment that proceeds faster than the body's elimination pathways can keep pace with, risks excessive production of decomposition forms that the excretory organs cannot adequately clear. As a rule, ensuring the function of the organs of elimination — stool, urine, sweat, sputum — is considered just as important as the remedy itself, and a supportive detoxification approach involving enemas, baths, teas or electrolytes may be recommended alongside treatment where appropriate.

"Isopathic Therapy normalizes the symbiontic equilibrium between the Endobiont and its host organism on a basis of species-identical organisms."

How Basic Regulation Fits the Wider Programme

Within the well-known 4-Steps-Basic Scheme of SANUM Therapy (a protocol we look at closely later in this series), Mucokehl and Nigersan occupy Step 3: Basic Regulation, typically introduced after ten to twenty days of a more targeted fungal preparation matched to the specific presentation in Step 2. The classic pattern given for this step is Mucokehl in the morning and Nigersan in the evening — or, alternatively, a twice-daily combination preparation of the two organisms for five days, with the two approaches sometimes alternated across a fortnight on a five-days-on, two-days-off rhythm.

The logic of placing these two remedies here, in the basic, non-specific position rather than at the very start of therapy, reflects their broad, foundational role. Where Step 2 preparations are chosen for their match to a specific presentation — Notakehl® for bacterial affections, Fortakehl® for intestinal affections, Albicansan® for candida affections — Mucokehl and Nigersan are considered suitable across an unusually wide range of presentations, precisely because they work at the most fundamental level of the cyclogenetic cycle itself.

Forms and General Use

Both preparations are available as drops for oral administration, and Mucokehl is additionally supplied as tablets, capsules, suppositories and an ointment for topical application — reflecting the SANUM principle that isopathic treatment can be performed orally, by inhalation, percutaneously by rubbing in, via suppository, or by injection, with these different forms combined or alternated according to the situation. Milder forms of application, such as oral drops or topical rubbing, are generally considered suitable for prophylactic use during injection-free intervals, and for gentler, ongoing follow-up care once the more intensive phase of a programme has passed.

As with all preparations in this range, dosage is always adapted to the individual's responsiveness and symptoms over the course of treatment, and general reactions such as mild headache, dizziness or a short-lived rise in temperature are considered a normal, if occasional, sign that the therapy is engaging the body's own regulatory response — usually resolving within twelve hours without requiring specific treatment.

Having established the two remedies that anchor SANUM's basic regulation, the next article in this series looks at the principle that ties this entire product family together: isopathy itself, and the specific role of the Chondritin preparations in what practitioners call species-identical therapy.
