Not every microbial threat announces itself clearly to the immune system. Some bacteria and fungi produce toxins that act as a causal trigger for disease, while others develop into so-called Cell Wall Deficient forms — microbes stripped of the very structures the immune system normally uses to identify them. Both toxins and CWD forms, crucially, often cannot be recognised by the body's immune system at all, because they are missing the antigen properties the immune system relies on to spot them. This is the specific problem the Sanukehl range of preparations was built to solve.
Polysaccharides for Haptenic Therapy
The Sanukehl product series is based on a distinctive production process in which the polysaccharides of specific microorganisms are extracted, and Haptens are made from the cell-wall components of originally pathogenic germs. In their mode of action, Sanukehl preparations bind to the pathogenic antigens and their toxins, enabling the body to eliminate them — effectively acting as a kind of tag or flag that makes an otherwise invisible threat visible to the immune system again.
This is a genuinely different mechanism from the isopathic Chondritin preparations covered earlier in this series. Where Mucokehl or Nigersan work by offering the body a species-identical, low-valenced form of an organism to support its own regulatory journey, Sanukehl preparations work at the level of antigen recognition itself — helping the immune system see and bind to pathogens and toxins that would otherwise slip past undetected.

A Hapten for Nearly Every Common Pathogen
What makes the Sanukehl range so extensive is its breadth of coverage across bacterial, fungal and yeast organisms commonly implicated in chronic and recurrent presentations:
Sanukehl® Acne, a Hapten from Propionibacterium acnes, addresses severe dermatological presentations including acne conglobata. Sanukehl® Cand, from Candida albicans of serotypes A and B, complements the Chondritin-based Candida preparations covered in Part 5. Sanukehl® Coli, from Escherichia coli, is directed at gastrointestinal infections including gastroenteritis. Sanukehl® Staph and Sanukehl® Strep, from Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pyogenes respectively, address skin and soft-tissue infections and throat presentations including strep throat.
Further along the range, Sanukehl® Klebs (from Klebsiella pneumoniae) and Sanukehl® Pseu (from Pseudomonas aeruginosa) are both directed at chronic respiratory tract infections; Sanukehl® Prot (from Proteus vulgaris) at chronic and recurrent urinary tract infection; Sanukehl® Salm (from Salmonella enteritidis) at acute gastroenteritis; Sanukehl® Serra (from Serratia marcescens) at chronic bronchitis; Sanukehl® Brucel (from Brucella melitensis) at chronic infections and immune system disorders; and Sanukehl® Trich (from Trichophyton verrucosum) at dermatophytosis, or fungal ringworm-type skin infections.
This organism-by-organism precision reflects a consistent thread across the whole SANUM range: rather than offering one broad-spectrum remedy for "infection" in general, the tradition matches the specific preparation to the specific organism a practitioner believes is involved — whether the mechanism at work is isopathic support, immunostimulation, or, as here, haptenic antigen-binding.
Where Sanukehl Fits in a Wider Programme
Within the 4-Step Werthmann protocol we examine in detail in the next article, Sanukehl preparations sit alongside the bacterial-phase immunobiological remedies covered in Part 7 — Latensin, Recarcin, Utilin and Utilin "S" — as part of Step 4: Immunomodulation with bacterial preparations. This positioning matters. Sanukehl is generally introduced once the terrain-level work of deacidification and basic fungal regulation is already underway, rather than as a first-line remedy on its own — reflecting the view that helping the immune system recognise a hidden pathogen is most effective once the wider internal environment has already been given a chance to stabilise.
As with the immunobiological bacterial preparations, local and general reactions following Sanukehl administration are considered a normal feature of an active, engaged immune response, with dosage always adapted to the individual's tolerance over the course of treatment.
