Their name gives the game away: Senectus is Latin for old age. Once the basic INET structure of K2F and K2M has been established across this series, the natural next question is what changes when the target isn't neuroendocrine regulation in general, but the specific physiology of ageing. GUNA's answer is Senectus F and Senectus M — the secondary group of INET medicines, built for geriatrics and gerontology specifically.
Building on the Basic Structure
Senectus F and Senectus M keep the same glandular backbone as K2F and K2M — Cerebrum suis, Melatonin, Hypophysis suis, Hypothalamus suis, Glandula thyreoidea suis, Glandula thymus suis and Pancreas suis all carry across, alongside the sex-specific glands (Ovarium suis and Corpus luteum suis in the F formula, Testis suis and Corpus luteum suis in the M formula) and Glandula suprarenalis suis. What changes is the addition of a more complex secondary layer: single homeopathic remedies, vitamins, and substances with their own neuroendocrine activity, layered onto the typical INET structure.

Why Each Addition Is There
Every addition to the Senectus formulas has a specific physiological rationale behind it, and understanding that rationale is really understanding why this product exists at all.
Phosphorus, present in three separate potencies — 6CH, 30CH and 200K — is added because it is a homeopathic remedy specifically associated with degenerative processes of the cerebral, hepatic and pulmonary cells, the kind of processes typical of senescence. As GUNA's own literature puts it, Phosphorus "gives energy and light to the nervous cell": it acts on the mitochondria, particularly the electron-transport chain, promoting oxidative phosphorylation and, as a result, greater ATP synthesis. The centesimal (CH) and Korsakovian (K) dilutions were chosen deliberately, to make use of the marked tropism these two particular homeopathic dilution methods have for nervous tissue.
Serotonin and Tryptophan are included to address the reduced serotoninergic tone commonly seen in the ageing brain — a condition current neuroscience links to senile depression, psychophysical asthenia, senile aboulia and sleeping disorders. Both substances also play a documented part in the synthesis of melatonin, tying this addition back to the pineal-gland focus that runs through the whole INET range.
Vitamins B1, B12, C and Folic acid round out the formula as the basic biological catalysts for intermediary metabolism — nutrients that are often deficient in the elderly due to poor absorption, and whose blockage can act as a trigger for degenerative cell processes.
Finally, Eleutherococcus, better known as Siberian ginseng, earns its place through its content of Eleutheroside A and M, provitamin A, vitamin E and caffeic acid. These constituents are credited with increasing psychophysical tone, acting as an anabolic and anti-anaemic agent, improving appetite, and stimulating the immune system.
Field of Action
Taken together, GUNA describes the field of action for Senectus F and Senectus M as covering senile asthenia, strain dyspnea secondary to moderate-level cardiac insufficiency, memory disorders, sleeping disorders, cerebral atherosclerosis-type vasculopathies, mild coronary disorders, and pathologies secondary to cerebral vascular disorders.
Dosage
As with K2F and K2M, the standard posology is 10 drops, two to three times a day, not exceeding a maximum daily dose of 30 drops.
A More Targeted Layer on the Same Foundation
What Senectus F and Senectus M illustrate well is how the INET product family scales in complexity without abandoning its underlying logic. The core neuroendocrine axis addressed by K2F and K2M stays intact; what changes is the addition of substances chosen specifically for the physiological realities of an ageing nervous and endocrine system — reduced serotonin tone, mitochondrial decline, absorption-related vitamin deficiency, and the general loss of psychophysical resilience that comes with age.
