Indications

Aesculus is traditionally associated with the venous circulation and with conditions of venous congestion. It is linked with venous stasis, with varicose veins and with haemorrhoids, and with the aching, dragging pains of the lower back and sacrum (lumbosacral pain) that so often accompany a sluggish venous return, as well as with paraesthesia — sensations of tingling, pins-and-needles or numbness. It is regarded as a remedy that helps to regulate the peripheral circulation, the flow of lymph and the action of the capillaries.

About the remedy

Aesculus-Injeel is a single-remedy homeopathic preparation from Heel's antihomotoxic Injeel range, containing potentised Aesculus hippocastanum (horse chestnut), a large deciduous tree of the family Sapindaceae (soapberry family). The seeds of the horse chestnut have a long traditional standing as a remedy for the veins, and Aesculus is one of homeopathy's best-known preparations for venous congestion, varicose complaints and haemorrhoids.

Composition

Each 1.1 ml ampoule contains: Aesculus hippocastanum D12, D30, D200 — 0.367 ml each.

Among the preparations stocked here, Aesculus hippocastanum features as a constituent of Aesculus compositum, Aesculus-Heel, Cerebrum compositum, Cutis compositum, Discus compositum and Tonsilla compositum.

Suggested use

Supplied as ampoules of 1.1 ml. The solution may be taken orally or used by injection (i.m., s.c., i.d. or i.v.). A general guideline is the contents of one ampoule 1–3 times weekly; in acute situations it may be used more frequently, or as directed.
