Indications

Cortison-Injeel is traditionally associated with the after-effects and misuse of cortisone therapy, drawing attention to the reversal effect of the glucocorticoids. It is linked with the consequences of the misuse of cortisone and with other iatrogenic (therapeutical) damage, and with impairment of the adrenal cortex, of the hypophysis cerebri and particularly of the anterior lobe of the pituitary gland (Simmonds' disease or the Simmonds-Sheehan syndrome, and dystrophia adiposogenitalis). It is especially connected with weakness of and damage to the connective tissues — such as osteoporosis, osteomalacia and osteochondrosis — with weakness of the ligaments accompanied by sprains of the joints, with Sudeck's atrophy, and with other diseases that become manifest in the connective tissues.

About the remedy

Cortison-Injeel is a single-remedy homeopathic preparation from Heel's antihomotoxic Injeel range, containing potentised Cortisonum (cortisone), the glucocorticoid hormone of the adrenal cortex. In homeopathic potency it is used within antihomotoxic therapy to address the after-effects of glucocorticoid (cortisone) treatment and to support the pituitary-adrenal axis and the connective tissues.

Composition

Each 1.1 ml ampoule contains: Cortisonum D12, D30, D200 — 0.367 ml each.

Suggested use

Supplied as ampoules of 1.1 ml. The solution may be taken orally or used by injection (i.m., s.c., i.d. or i.v.). A general guideline is the contents of one ampoule 1–3 times weekly; in acute situations it may be used more frequently, or as directed.
