Description

Indications

Funiculus umbilicalis suis is traditionally regarded as a remedy for affections of the connective tissue, and is associated with almost all chronic diseases. It is linked with damaged connective tissue, adhesions, osteochondrosis, premature ageing and the formation of wrinkles, with adynamia and arteriosclerosis, and with the cervical syndrome, coxitis, diverticulitis and chronic colitis. It is further connected with collagen disorders such as lupus erythematosus and scleroderma, with fibromas, vascular and circulatory disorders, vegetative dystonia, glaucoma and geriatric complaints of all kinds, as well as with radiation damage, the after-effects of antibiotics and other therapeutic agents, scrofulosis, multiple sclerosis, muscular atrophy, neurodermatitis, oedema, marasmus and cachexia. Among many other listed associations are acne rosacea, psoriasis, cirrhosis of the liver, osteomalacia, Bechterew’s disease and auto-aggression (autoimmune) conditions.

About the remedy

Funiculus umbilicalis suis-Injeel is a single-remedy homeopathic preparation from Heel’s antihomotoxic Injeel range, prepared from potentised porcine (suis) umbilical-cord tissue. On the suis-organ principle, a potentised tissue is used to support the corresponding tissue in the human body; here the preparation is directed at the connective tissue, and it is regarded as a broadly-acting remedy in chronic and degenerative conditions.

Composition

Each 1.1 ml ampoule contains: Funiculus umbilicalis suis D8, D12, D30, D200 — 0.275 ml each.

Part of the Heel range — what to use it with

The compendium advises that this preparation always be combined with other suitable agents. Among the products stocked here these include Hypophysis suis-Injeel, Glandula suprarenalis suis-Injeel, Traumeel S, Engystol N, Galium-Heel, Silicea-Injeel, Hepeel and the intermediary catalysts of the citric acid cycle (Citric Acid Cycle Set). It is also a constituent of the composita Cutis compositum, Discus compositum, Thyreoidea compositum, Tonsilla compositum and Zeel.

Suggested use

Supplied as ampoules of 1.1 ml. The solution may be taken orally or used by injection (i.m., s.c., i.d. or i.v.). A general guideline is the contents of one ampoule 1–3 times weekly; in acute situations it may be used more frequently, or as directed.
