Indications

Histamin is traditionally associated with the wide range of conditions in which an excessive action of histamine can be held responsible. It is linked with allergic diseases — bronchial asthma, rhinitis vasomotorica and allergic skin diseases and dermatoses — and with gastritis and duodenitis with or without ulceration, gastric and intestinal spasms, and increased secretion of the salivary, lacrimal and bronchial glands, as well as certain forms of headache. Because histamine is present in many alcoholic drinks it is also used experimentally for disorders arising from alcohol, and because large amounts are released when burns, contusions, fractures or tissue destruction occur, it is further indicated for these traumas. It is additionally connected with support of the body's detoxicating functions.

About the remedy

Histamin Injeel is a single-remedy homeopathic preparation from Heel's antihomotoxic Injeel range, containing potentised Histaminum (histamine). Histamine is a biogenic amine belonging to the group of tissue hormones — active substances that are produced not in one particular organ but in many tissues — and is given here in potentised form to address disorders connected with its excessive action.

Composition

Each 1.1 ml ampoule contains: Histaminum D12, D30, D200 — 0.367 ml each.

Part of the Heel range — what to use it with

Among the preparations stocked here, Histaminum features in Hepar compositum, Ubichinon compositum and the Luffa comp.-Heel Nasal Spray. In injection therapy it is often combined with the catalysts of the citric acid cycle and with Engystol N.

Suggested use

Supplied as ampoules of 1.1 ml. The solution may be taken orally or used by injection (i.m., s.c., i.d. or i.v.). A general guideline is the contents of one ampoule 1–3 times weekly; in acute situations it may be used more frequently, or as directed.
