Indications
Medorrhinum is traditionally associated with a hurried, restless temperament — a hasty manner, excessive nervousness alternating with exhaustion, pessimism, mental depression, obstinacy and other disturbances of character, a tendency toward mania, and great forgetfulness of recent events, with the patient losing the thread while talking. It is linked with frontal headache and a sensation of constriction, sleeplessness around midnight and nocturnal enuresis. In the respiratory sphere it is connected with rhinitis and sinusitis with nasal blockage and loss of smell, and with a painful dry night cough, laryngospasm and asthma that is better at the seaside. It is further associated with spasmodic abdominal pain and stubborn constipation, with renal colic, cystitis, urethritis and fluor albus, with rheumatic joint disorders such as gonarthritis and coxarthritis, and with a moist, oily skin bearing warts, condylomas, chronic eczema and other sycotic conditions.
About the remedy
Medorrhinum-Injeel is a single-remedy homeopathic preparation from Heel’s antihomotoxic Injeel range, containing potentised Medorrhinum. It is a nosode — prepared from a potentised disease-related source and used according to the isopathic principle — and is one of the principal remedies of the sycotic constitution, employed in nosode therapy to address deep-seated, chronic reactive patterns.
Composition
Each 1.1 ml ampoule contains: Medorrhinum D12, D30, D200 — 0.367 ml each.
Part of the Heel range — what to use it with
As Medorrhinum-Nosode it is a constituent of several Heel combinations stocked here, including Cerebrum Compositum, Discus Compositum, Atropinum Compositum and Tartephedreel. In nosode therapy it is often combined with Galium-Heel and, where the nasal mucosa is involved, with Mucosa nasalis suis-Injeel.
Suggested use
Supplied as ampoules of 1.1 ml. The solution may be taken orally or used by injection (i.m., s.c., i.d. or i.v.). A general guideline is the contents of one ampoule 1–3 times weekly; in acute situations it may be used more frequently, or as directed.
