Description
Indications
Nux vomica is traditionally regarded as a gastro-intestinal and hepatic remedy. It is associated with digestive and liver complaints and with the consequences of the misuse of stimulants such as alcohol and nicotine. It is linked with spasmodic constipation and with haemorrhoids. It is closely connected with a characteristic temperament — the patient is irritated, annoyed, easily enraged and hypersensitive to external influences — and with complaints that are distinctly worse in the morning.
About the remedy
Nux Vomica Injeel S is a single-remedy homeopathic preparation from Heel's antihomotoxic Injeel range, containing potentised Nux vomica (Strychnos nux-vomica, the poison-nut tree of the family Loganiaceae). The seeds are a classic homeopathic source, and Nux vomica is one of the great polychrests — traditionally the leading remedy for the digestive and nervous consequences of over-indulgence and stimulant misuse.
Composition
Each 1.1 ml ampoule contains: Nux vomica D12, D30, D200, D1000 — 0.275 ml each.
Part of the Heel range — what to use it with
Among the preparations stocked here Nux vomica is a constituent of Gastricumeel and Mucosa compositum, with which it shares its field of use in gastro-intestinal and hepatic complaints.
Suggested use
Supplied as ampoules of 1.1 ml. The solution may be taken orally or used by injection (i.m., s.c., i.d. or i.v.). A general guideline is the contents of one ampoule 1–3 times weekly; in acute situations it may be used more frequently, or as directed.
