Indications

Placenta suis is traditionally associated with disturbances of the peripheral circulation and their consequences — cutis marmorata (marbled skin), pernios (chilblains), dysbasia intermittens (intermittent claudication) and Bürger’s disease. It is linked with poorly healing and pressure-related skin damage, including decubitus (pressure sores), crural (leg) ulcers, rhagades (skin fissures), eczema, infolding of the skin and sclerodermia. It is further connected with dysmenorrhoea (painful menstruation), with sural (calf) spasms and with muscular rheumatism.

About the remedy

Placenta suis-Injeel forte is a single-remedy preparation from Heel’s antihomotoxic Injeel range, prepared from potentised porcine placenta (Placenta suis). As a suis-organ preparation it is used according to homeopathic principles to support the body’s own circulatory and tissue-repair functions, with a particular affinity for the peripheral circulation and the skin. The "forte" version is a stronger preparation that adds a lower potency.

Composition

Each 1.1 ml ampoule contains: Placenta suis D8, D12, D30, D200 — 0.275 ml each.

Part of the Heel range — what to use it with

Among the preparations stocked here, Placenta suis features in Cerebrum Compositum, Cutis Compositum, Ovarium Compositum and Zeel T. In injection therapy for peripheral circulatory disorders it is often combined with the single remedy Vena suis-Injeel.

Suggested use

Supplied as ampoules of 1.1 ml. The solution may be taken orally or used by injection (i.m., s.c., i.d. or i.v.). A general guideline is the contents of one ampoule 1–3 times weekly; in acute situations it may be used more frequently, or as directed.
