Indications

Streptococcus haemolyticus-Injeel is traditionally associated with conditions in which haemolytic streptococci play a part. It is linked with angina (often with a tendency to tonsillar abscess), otitis media, phlegmons, empyema, puerperal mastitis, endocarditis, myocarditis, pericarditis, pneumonia, meningitis, osteomyelitis and primary chronic polyarthritis. It is further connected with choreic twitching, grimacing, tics and muscular hypertonia, and with mental changes such as weak impulses, inattentiveness, irritability, depression, psychotic patterns, hallucinatory states and nightmares. Symptomatically it is associated with intolerance of noise, light and draughts, weeping without cause, roaring in the ears and a salty sensation of the lips. It is regarded as an important remedy to include in autoimmune disease where streptococci may have shared in the origin.

About the remedy

Streptococcus haemolyticus-Injeel is a single-remedy homeopathic preparation from Heel's antihomotoxic Injeel range. It is a nosode — prepared from a potentised, disease-related bacterial source — and is used according to the isopathic principle in conditions linked with haemolytic streptococcal infection and its sequelae.

Composition

Each 1.1 ml ampoule contains: Streptococcus haemolyticus D12, D30, D200 — 0.367 ml each.

Part of the Heel range — what to use it with

Streptococcus haemolyticus-Nosode is a constituent of Echinacea compositum, stocked here, and in nosode therapy is classically combined with the single remedy Staphylococcus-Injeel, also available here.

Suggested use

Supplied as ampoules of 1.1 ml. The solution may be taken orally or used by injection (i.m., s.c., i.d. or i.v.). A general guideline is the contents of one ampoule 1–3 times weekly; in acute situations it may be used more frequently, or as directed.
