Description
Indications
Viscum album (mistletoe) is traditionally associated with disturbances of the circulation and with the higher blood-pressure states. It is linked with constitutional hypertonia (high blood pressure), with sudden attacks of dizziness, and with headaches, especially in the forehead. It is further connected with pruritus sine materia — itching of the skin without any visible eruption — and, in the antihomotoxic tradition, with precancerous states and neoplasia. Mistletoe preparations feature widely across Heel’s cardiovascular and hypertension combinations.
About the remedy
Viscum album-Injeel forte is a single-remedy homeopathic preparation from Heel’s antihomotoxic Injeel range, containing potentised Viscum album (European mistletoe), a semi-parasitic evergreen that grows on the branches of trees. Mistletoe has a long traditional standing in the treatment of high blood pressure and in the supportive therapy of precancerous and neoplastic conditions. The “forte” strength is a more concentrated preparation.
Composition
Each 1.1 ml ampoule contains: Viscum album D3, D12, D30, D200 — 0.275 ml each.
Contraindications
Following intravenous administration of the forte strength, hypersensitivity reactions and a sudden fall in blood pressure may occasionally occur.
Part of the Heel range — what to use it with
Viscum album is a constituent of a number of Heel combinations stocked here, including Aesculus Compositum, Ginseng Compositum, Rauwolfia Compositum, Thalamus Compositum and Thyreoidea Compositum.
Suggested use
Supplied as ampoules of 1.1 ml. The solution may be taken orally or used by injection (i.m., s.c., i.d. or i.v.). A general guideline is the contents of one ampoule 1–3 times weekly; in acute situations it may be used more frequently, or as directed.
