Description
Indications
Zincum valerianicum (zinc valerianate) is traditionally associated with nervous restlessness of the motor system. It is linked above all with insomnia nervosa (nervous sleeplessness) and with restlessness of the motor area — in particular (nocturnal) restless legs, the constant fidgeting movement sometimes called “motorist’s legs.” Uniting the homeopathic spheres of zinc and of valerian, it is connected with over-excitability of the nervous system, and it is also used for the restlessness that accompanies feverish and exanthematous illnesses — for example where measles is slow to develop or is receding.
About the remedy
Zincum valerianicum-Injeel is a single-remedy homeopathic preparation from Heel’s antihomotoxic Injeel range, containing potentised zinc valerianate — the zinc salt of valerianic acid. It combines the homeopathic sphere of zinc, a remedy for nervous exhaustion and motor twitching, with that of valerian, long valued as a calming nervine, giving it a particular affinity for states of nervous restlessness and disturbed sleep.
Composition
Each 1.1 ml ampoule contains: Zincum valerianicum D12, D30, D200 — 0.367 ml each.
Part of the Heel range — what to use it with
In injection therapy Zincum valerianicum-Injeel is combined with Spascupreel for restlessness and cramp, and it is used alongside Berberis-Homaccord and Neuro-Injeel.
Suggested use
Supplied as ampoules of 1.1 ml. The solution may be taken orally or used by injection (i.m., s.c., i.d. or i.v.). A general guideline is the contents of one ampoule 1–3 times weekly; in acute situations it may be used more frequently, or as directed.
