Indications

Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) is one of Heel’s homeopathically prepared vitamin catalysts, used as a coenzyme factor in metabolism. The cobalamins are traditionally associated with normal growth and with uninterrupted haematopoiesis (the formation of blood, through the synthesis of nucleic acid), and with the maturation of epithelial cells, especially those lining the intestinal tract. Vitamin B12 is linked with the transfer of labile methyl groups for the formation of methionine, and in this way with the folic-acid metabolism, and — like vitamin B6 — with protein metabolism in the liver. In the Injeel potency chord it is used on Veith’s “enhancing effect” principle, to resensitise the body’s own reaction and support its detoxifying functions.

About the remedy

Vitamin B12-Injeel is a single-remedy homeopathic preparation from Heel’s antihomotoxic Injeel range, containing potentised cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12). Vitamin B12 is a cobalt-containing vitamin essential to cellular energy metabolism and to blood formation; in the Injeel catalyst range it is prepared as a potency chord and used as a co-factor to stimulate and re-regulate metabolism rather than as a nutritional dose.

Composition

Each 1.1 ml ampoule contains: Cyanocobalaminum D10, D30, D200 — 0.367 ml each.

Part of the Heel range — what to use it with

Cyanocobalamin is a constituent of Hepar Compositum among the preparations stocked here.

Suggested use

Supplied as ampoules of 1.1 ml. The solution may be taken orally or used by injection (i.m., s.c., i.d. or i.v.). A general guideline is the contents of one ampoule 1–3 times weekly; in acute situations it may be used more frequently, or as directed. As with all catalyst preparations, it is helpful to drink plenty of fluids during the first three days, to rest from strenuous activity, and to follow a light, low-toxin diet; correct timing is important.
