Chamomilla is prepared from German chamomile, Matricaria chamomilla (listed by Weleda as Chamomilla recutita), a familiar daisy-family herb. The whole flowering plant provides the mother tincture, which is serially diluted and succussed to reach the 30c potency - a 1:100 dilution repeated thirty times. The tablets are soft and readily dissolved, supplied in Weleda's glass bottle of 125 on a lactose and sucrose base. In traditional homeopathic practice, Chamomilla is perhaps best known as a remedy associated with irritability and restlessness, particularly the fretful, hard-to-soothe mood sometimes linked with teething infants.

Directions: Adults: 2 tablets. Children: 1 tablet. To be sucked or chewed. Unless otherwise directed, take 1 dose every 2 hours for the first 6 doses, then 1 dose when required, reducing frequency as symptoms improve.
