Description
Indications
Hypophysis suis is traditionally associated with hormonal disturbances and with the endocrine regulation governed by the pituitary gland. It is linked with hypophyseal obesity, dystrophia adiposo-genitalis and ovarian manifestations of endocrine deficiency, and with disturbances of menstruation and ovulation, dysmenorrhoea and lactorrhoea. It is further connected with chronic arthrosis and primary chronic polyarthritis, with disturbances of the functions of the connective tissue and disorders of that tissue, and with disturbances of growth. Among skin complaints it is associated with neurodermatitis and other skin diseases.
About the remedy
Hypophysis Suis Injeel is a single-remedy homeopathic preparation from Heel's antihomotoxic Injeel range, prepared from potentised porcine pituitary tissue (Hypophysis suis). As a suis-organ preparation it is used according to the organ-therapy principle to support the corresponding human organ — the pituitary, the master endocrine gland — and its regulation of hormonal and connective-tissue functions.
Composition
Each 1.1 ml ampoule contains: Hypophysis suis D10, D30, D200 — 0.367 ml each.
(Heel also produces a stronger version, Hypophysis Suis Injeel Forte: D8, D12, D30, D200.)
Part of the Heel range — what to use it with
Among the preparations stocked here, Hypophysis suis features in Ovarium compositum. In hormonal and endocrine injection therapy it is frequently combined with Glandula suprarenalis suis-Injeel, Ovarium suis-Injeel and Hormeel S.
Suggested use
Supplied as ampoules of 1.1 ml. The solution may be taken orally or used by injection (i.m., s.c., i.d. or i.v.). A general guideline is the contents of one ampoule 1–3 times weekly; in acute situations it may be used more frequently, or as directed.
