Indications

Mercurius solubilis Hahnemanni is traditionally associated with suppurative, pus-forming inflammation of every kind — furuncles (boils), carbuncles, abscesses, phlegmons and empyema. In the mouth and throat it is linked with gingivitis, stomatitis and tonsillitis, and in the airways with nasopharyngeal catarrh and catarrh of the sinuses. It is further connected with cholangitis, the inflammation of the bile ducts, and with acute and chronic inflammation of the lymphatic system and chronic affections of the connective tissue, reflecting mercury’s long homeopathic standing in states of glandular swelling and suppuration.

About the remedy

Mercurius solubilis Hahnemanni-Injeel is a single-remedy homeopathic preparation from Heel’s antihomotoxic Injeel range, containing potentised Mercurius solubilis Hahnemanni (Hahnemann’s soluble mercury, a mercury-based preparation). Long established in homeopathy, its sphere of action centres on the mucous membranes, glands and lymphatic system, particularly in suppurative and catarrhal inflammation.

Composition

Each 1.1 ml ampoule contains: Mercurius solubilis Hahnemanni D12, D30, D200, D1000 — 0.275 ml each.

Contraindications

In rare cases an increased flow of saliva may occur after taking this medication; if this happens, the therapist should be consulted.

Part of the Heel range — what to use it with

Mercurius solubilis Hahnemanni is a constituent of several Heel combinations stocked here, including Traumeel S, Cutis Compositum, Cantharis Compositum, Momordica Compositum, Ovarium Compositum, Tonsilla Compositum and Mercurius-Heel. In injection therapy it is often paired with Hepar sulfuris Injeel and Traumeel S for suppuration, abscesses and other pus-forming inflammation.

Suggested use

Supplied as ampoules of 1.1 ml. The solution may be taken orally or used by injection (i.m., s.c., i.d. or i.v.). A general guideline is the contents of one ampoule 1–3 times weekly; in acute situations it may be used more frequently, or as directed.
