Weleda Herb & Honey Cough Elixir is a traditional herbal medicinal product used for the symptomatic relief of dry and irritating coughs, based on traditional use only. A clear-to-slightly-cloudy amber, syrupy liquid, it can be taken neat or in a little water and has a naturally sweet, soothing character from its honey base. The formula combines six traditional cough herbs - aniseed, elderflower, Iceland moss, marshmallow root, thyme and white horehound - long used to ease tickly, unproductive coughs, especially over winter.

Directions: Adults, the elderly and children over 12: two 5ml spoonfuls (10ml) every 3-4 hours, undiluted or in a little water; up to 4 doses daily.

Ingredients: Oral syrup/elixir. Actives per 5ml (each ~81mg extract equivalent): aniseed, elderflower, Iceland moss, marshmallow root, thyme, white horehound. Also purified water, honey, sucrose, glycerol, citric acid.
