Arnica is prepared from Arnica montana, the yellow mountain daisy sometimes called leopard's bane, which grows in upland meadows across Europe. Weleda grows its arnica biodynamically and hand-harvests the plant before preparing the mother tincture to pharmaceutical standards. This is then diluted and succussed to a 30c potency - the 1:100 centesimal dilution repeated thirty times. The tablets dissolve easily and come in Weleda's glass bottle of 125 on a lactose and sucrose base. Arnica is arguably the most famous homeopathic remedy of all, traditionally associated in the homeopathic first-aid tradition with the after-effects of bumps, knocks and overexertion.

Directions: Adults: 2 tablets. Children: 1 tablet. To be sucked or chewed. Unless otherwise directed, take 1 dose every 2 hours for the first 6 doses, then 1 dose when required, reducing frequency as symptoms improve.
